  • When is the event and when do tickets go live?
    -The Farewell Feast is September 20th, 2024 and the Party of Special Magnificence is on September 21st, 2024.
    Tickets go live on July 1st, 2024 at 12pm est right here at HalflingEvents.com.

  • Where are the parties?
    Both events will be held at

  • Can I buy tickets the day of?
    -Unfortunately no. The last day to purchase tickets for either the Farewell Feast or the Party of Special Magnificence is August 31, 2024 unless sold out.

  • My plans changed, can I get a refund on my tickets?
    -Tickets for the Farewell Feast and the Party of Special Magnificence are non-refundable. 
    If your plans have changed we do allow tickets to transfer to another person by updating your ticket info when you open your ticket via the link found in your original purchase confirmation email. We ask that you contact us immediately when this is done so there is no issue at check-in. Email us at contact@halflingevents.com

  • Is there a dress code?
    -Yes, Halfling Attire is required for attendance. This can be as simple or extravagant as you wish. Our official Grey Wizard will be in attendance however, please do not dress as any other non-halfling fantasy characters to ensure everyone fully enjoys the party experience.   • What is included with my ticket?
    - Farewell Feast: Admittance ticket will include a multiple course meal, dessert, tea by Donovan Pottery, 2 drinks from the Tavern, 
    - Party of Special Magnificence: Admittance Tickets include entry to the event, a box of treats to enjoy with Tea by Elysian Treats, 2 tea tickets for Afternoon Tea by Donovan Pottery, 2 drinks from the Tavern, your Dinner, and Birthday Cake.

  • Is this a family-friendly event?
    -Yes! Children are welcome to attend the Party of Special Magnificence but the Farewell Feast is 21+ only. 

  • Can I bring outside food & drink?
    -We encourage you to bring a blanket and a picnic basket full of snacks and treats to enjoy as you wish. We will have water fill stations but please bring your own container/mug to refill! No outside alcohol will be permitted. There will be beer & wine available for purchase at the tavern at both events.

  • Will there be things I can purchase while there?
    -Yes! Additional baked goods for Afternoon Teatime, wine, beer, & tea will be available for purchase. Will Donovan will also have items available for purchase for you to enjoy with your fellowship throughout the day.
    The Fell & Fair Shop will be available during the event. The Fell & Fair Shop is also open Friday, Sept 20th, 1-7pm, for any l costume needs!
     
  • What is for Dinner & Cake?
    -Rad Dad's BBQ has created an amazing meal that is Gluten Free and Elysian Treats is making an amazing Birthday Cake and will also have a Gluten Free option available. Please email us with your order number and with how many in your party need a Gluten Free option.

  • Will there be Vegan or Dairy-free options?
    -Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer a vegan or dairy-free option for cake or dinner. The cost to do so would require us to make the ticket price higher and we much rather offer you a lower entrance fee and you be able to bring your own food, than have you worrying about ingredients every time you go to eat something! Please email us at contact@halflingevents.com if you need this ticket option.
     
  • What activities will be involved during the day, like line dancing, themed sports, storytelling, or performances? Or is this just a relaxed social event?
    -We will have lots of activities planned for the day. We will have live music playing throughout the day for dancing, we will have storytelling/book reading, and sports such as 3-legged races & horseshoes, but we will have a little bit of time for a relaxed time to just socialize.
     
  • Will there be any sparring with LARP weapons allowed in certain areas?
    -No weapons are allowed, LARP or real. 
     
  • Is this just a one-day event? And is there an option for camping on-site the night before or after? 
    -The event will be just the day. People may start arriving at 2:00 pm and everyone will leave around 9:30 pm to allow our team to pack up. If you'd like to camp, the Greenville and Anderson areas offer tons of beautiful spots for camping & exploring!
     
  • Can you clarify the stated goal of this event? Is it intended to be very immersive but low-key and informal? Or is it kind of a mix of immersive and mundane, like a Renaissance Faire?
    -This is an event for the whole family. With Weekend Warrior we are limited to only adults and this gives the chance for your whole family to enjoy a day of fun. We are encouraging everyone to dress in Hobbit attire but it is not mandatory for elaborate costumes, since we are trying to make it as affordable as possible for everyone.   • Are dogs allowed? (leashed or unleashed)
    -Because the event is held at a working farm, no pets are allowed to be brought.
