-We will have lots of activities planned for the day. We will have live music playing throughout the day for dancing, we will have storytelling/book reading, and sports such as 3-legged races & horseshoes, but we will have a little bit of time for a relaxed time to just socialize.

  • Will there be any sparring with LARP weapons allowed in certain areas?
-No weapons are allowed, LARP or real.

  • Is this just a one-day event? And is there an option for camping on-site the night before or after?
-The event will be just the day. People may start arriving at 2:00 pm and everyone will leave around 9:30 pm to allow our team to pack up. The event is at a working horse farm, so there is no camping allowed at the event.  If you'd like to camp, the Anderson area offers several of beautiful spots for camping & exploring!

  • Can you clarify the stated goal of this event? Is it intended to be very immersive but low-key and informal? Or is it kind of a mix of immersive and mundane, like a Renaissance Faire?
-This is an event for the whole family. With Weekend Warrior we are limited to only adults and this gives the chance for your whole family to enjoy a day of fun. We are encouraging everyone to dress in Hobbit attire but it is not mandatory for elaborate costumes, since we are trying to make it as affordable as possible for everyone. Please see our Pinterest Board here for inspiration!
  • Are dogs allowed? (leashed or unleashed)
-Because the event is held at a working farm, no pets are allowed to be brought.
